Constructivism is a sensory theory which moves to understand how viewers can be attracted or distracted from a visual image.
Constructivism describes the order in which viewers look at a composition. The images they consume are compiled in the brain from the path the eye flows over. Constructivism can be used to determine where viewers will look first in a composition and guide others into where their first focus should be.
The image above depicts where viewers have been drawn to in order.
For my image, the area I want viewers to be drawn to my subject and their computer first, therefore I plan on putting them around the bottom right to draw the viewers eye primarily towards them. Based on this image above, the viewer should then look above the subject to their surroundings then to the sides of the composition.
